0000299: Player pain sounds not played online
> BTW: If anybody wants the pain sounds to be fixed, why don't you just post a bug report instead? If there are no reasons except the pain sounds (which I can fix without letting the clients know the health), I'll just fix the sounds and deny this request. Somebody should make me a pain sound example wad though ;)
1) Start a standard DM server.
2) Connect two clients to the server.
3) Join the game with both clients.
4) Fire at will.

Tested with 3.1; you can hear your own pain sound as well as the opponent's online.

Forgive me, the original report here was ambiguous, as it was made as a continuation of an old bug thread from the Skulltag forums. The user reported that he didn't hear the different pain sounds for different health values, e.g. *pain75, *pain50, *pain25, *xdeath etc.

It works in coop modes now, but in competitive modes the standard pain sound is played all the time since the client doesn't isn't allowed to know of enemy health in those modes.
