Summary | 0002794: Weird map behavior when using "Play offline" option in Doomseeker | ||||
Description | When starting a survival game using the "Play offline" option in Doomseeker and while the countdown, the map shows its normal behavior regarding platform movement, elevators and such. However, once the game starts and in subsequent iterations, the platforms and such reset and don't move nor can be triggered anymore. This happens in MAP04 of Sunlust and MAP01 of Slaughterfest 2011. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Enter Doomseeker and use "Create Game". 2. Load mentioned WADs/maps or WADs/maps which have similar map behavior. 3. Set game to "Survival" mode. 4. Enter the game using the "Play offline" button. 5. Wait until after the countdown ends and the game starts. 6. Triggered events do not work anymore. | ||||
Additional Information | Seems to have something to do with triggered floor/ceiling movements caused by crossing a line or flipping a button. I noticed this bug first using 3.0-160519-2047 alpha then checked 2.1.2 and the bug is present there too. | ||||
