Summary | 0002753: Floating items in multiplayer |
Description | Hi, I've noticed that there are floating items now in the latest 3.0 beta in multiplayer but not in single player. This happens if the item is too close to a platform. |

The problem is related to the network desyncs described in ticket 0000408. |

Yep. Though it should be noted that this does not occur in 2.1.2 multiplayer.
Edit: Looks like it also happens with vanilla items such as medkits.

I think it's indirectly caused by one of the ZDoom fixes mentioned in the ticket, which are now present in zandronum 3.0. |

Any chance a beta-build can get released with the fix? My mod for 3.0 needs this. |

I added Edward-san's patch for +NOGRAVITY things, so this should be fix in 3.0 now. |
|
|
|
Tested with 3.0-160814 and the item was correctly positioned online even after map resets. |
|
