By demon I suppose you mean the pinky as opposed to another kind of enemy. How was this demon squished in the first place? Was it killed normally and then crushed by the door? |

Yes, pinky.
Yes, killed normally and then crushed. |

What map is this? The arch-vile shouldn't be resurrecting such corpses in the first place unless a certain compatibility flag is set.
EDIT: Wait a second. Maybe it's possible that the demon was only crushed by the door on the client end due to a slight position desync. I'll need to investigate this when I have the time to do so.

Is it there a more reliable way to reproduce this? Otherwise I feel this shouldn't have the 3.0 target version. |

Does it also happen in 2.1.2? |

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this any longer, not even with 151228. Arch-vile just ignores the squished corpse. I also don't remember what were the dmflags and the PWAD.
I'd suspect that this is another case of inaccurate client positioning that ususally causes all this monster warping grief, while here it causes the client to think that the corpse is under the door and the client squishes it while it remains unsquished on the server. Notice that in the video the squished corpse is just on the edge of the door. |
