| Description | I went over various Domination issues with bob and here's some excerpts from the conversation: Dec 05 18:21:48 <Combinebobnt> aligning domination point names is hard as fuck Dec 05 18:21:57 <Combinebobnt> look at sectorinfo of zandom02 and sfdm Dec 05 18:22:03 <Combinebobnt> dom points are fog only Dec 05 18:22:07 <Combinebobnt> gl_fogmode 0 means you cant see them Dec 05 18:22:14 <Combinebobnt> 255 brightness can make them invisible too Dec 05 18:22:23 <Combinebobnt> points require a ceiling Dec 05 18:23:03 <Combinebobnt> points scale linearly Dec 05 18:23:13 <Combinebobnt> aka a map with 1 point will take 7 times as long as a map with 7 points Dec 05 18:22:47 <Combinebobnt> sfdm32's points didnt show fog (dunno why for sure, prob the sector shape) Dec 05 18:23:21 <Combinebobnt> domination doesnt work with dm starts Dec 05 18:23:25 <Combinebobnt> when there is no reason not to Dec 05 18:23:44 <Combinebobnt> sectorinfo for domination is unique Dec 05 18:23:54 <Combinebobnt> so you cant have areas named like "red base" or whatever Dec 05 18:23:59 <Combinebobnt> because that will turn into a point I'm not sure how fixable all of these are, but I figured we could have some discussion about it at least. | ||||
