Summary | 0002492: Dinamic lightning |
Description | Something wrong with dynamic lightning in zandronum 3.0. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Start "zandronum.exe -iwad doom2.wad -file lag_test.wad".
2. Observe 1260 shotgunguy's. Watch how smooth your fps, for now.
3. Wake them up and note huge fps drop (it's ok).
4. Kill them all using any weapon.
All dead, but your fps is still low.
Reproduce same steps, but kill them with "kill shotgunguy" in console.
All dead, but fps is still smooth.
Additional Information | In GZdoom 1.8.6 fps is still smooth, no mater what are you doing. |

Notes |
GZDoom 1.8.6 and the latest GZDoom git revision (gzdoom-g2.1.pre-1307-g4e1723e) behave the same as Zandronum 3.0 in this regard for me if you load lights.pk3, which Zandronum integrates in zandronum.exe. So this seems to be a GZDoom bug. Can you confirm this and, if it is a GZDoom bug, report it at the GZDoom forum? |
Yes, confirmed. I will report it to GZDoom. |
