You want to add another dead port to Doomseeker? All first-party plugins (except Zandronum) are for ports that get next to no players at all.

Honestly, it'd be a waste of time for them to add this.

While there's no harm in providing support for various ports, I have to agree with AOSP here. Free time isn't made of rubber and I'd rather spend it on doing something more useful. If Blzut3 is keen on providing support for Doomsday, then he can go ahead and do it. I have nothing against it, but I also won't spend my time on it. Sorry.

While I have no objections to an official Doomsday plugin, and theoretically the amount of time needed to implement it would be pretty negligible, what I have found with the Odamex, Chocolate Doom, and Vavoom plugins is that if I don't have any emotional investment in the port then the plugin's quality won't be all that good. This effectively makes the plugin a waste of time since if the plugin isn't perfectly usable then no one is going to use Doomseeker with that port. Which in turn means no bug reports on problems.

Case in point, I don't know how many times the Chocolate Doom plugin completely broke and it took a release or two before anyone noticed.

DaniJ I think expressed interest on developing a plugin. If that ever turns into a serious attempt, I'm happy to help out in whatever way I can.
