Confirmed, I was just about to make the ticket when I saw this. I was busy yesterday...
Anyhow, to make it more clear.. Due to recent changes, such as Runes being moved from zandronum.pk3 to skulltag_actors.pk3, the st_actors file is now different then the one shipped with the official 2.1.2 build, thus Doomseeker SHOULD look in the Testing Folder, that if the user has testing directorys set.
I've already gone ahead and renamed the skulltag_actors.pk3 file in my main zan folder to skulltag_actors-2-1-2.pk3 and the same with the ZCC build. Yes I know, i would need to rename it, but most, if not all servers now, use skulltag_actors-1-1-1.pk3 which I heard is the outdated build...
Anyhow, I have a feeling this is why nobody can connect to 3.0 servers, and thus give up trying without even asking for help, or if that they do ask for help, nobody helps em. |
