0000225: chat sounds muted in the intermission screen after a "nextmap" or "changemap" map change offline
If you end a map through "nextmap" or "changemap" offline, the chat (and possibly announcer) sounds are muted while in the intermission screen.

In GZDoom 323 you can still use the exit switch to change maps. Have you tried this?

In GZDoom 323, the chat sound isn't muted in the intermission screen when you end a map through "changemap" or an exit switch. It is muted in Skulltag if you open the menu while in the intermission screen.

This issue appears to be fixed now.

Watermelon, I'd appreciate it if you marked fixed reports as resolved rather than closed.
