0002239: Timed Force Respawn
Zandronum right now has essentially two modes of spawning:

1. Spawn whenever the player fires (or never)
2. Spawn instantly after death.

Unfortunately there is no middle ground, which is what a timed-force respawn would make available. Tournaments/duels/tdm would be immediate benefactors, as instant force respawning is sometimes awkward and undesireable, but not having it on could delay a match for massive amounts of time as a player chooses not to respawn. Another exploit is choosing not to respawn in friendly-fire tdm when your teamate spams the bfg. Instant force respawn has its drawbacks too, as it can make spawn fragging uncontrollable for the victim; delayed respawns do have their use. Admin moderation for the above is an unnecessary hassle and shouldn't be the only solution.

There are multiple ways this could be implemented, and one of the simplest methods would be a variable such as sv_forcerespawntime or a better name. Whatever it is set to would determine the seconds before a player is forced to respawn, with them being able to willingly respawn in this period as well. This variable would affect sv_forcerespawn and default as 0, for instantaneous respawn.
