0001981: monsters randomly turn invisible
very very rarely while playing online, u will encounter a monster who decided to turn invisible, but in this demo a couple other things happened as well
(these arent steps to reproduce the bug, but what to do in the demo to see the bug)

demo_skiptonextmap until u reach guardian of ice (a second time)
wait (or skip) roughly 50 seconds and start watching until the demo ends (only takes a few mins)
sorry but i have no idea how to reproduce the bug, the only "idea" i have on when it happens is when a monster wakes up, but as seen in the demo, thats not always the case

for what its worth, ive encountered this in every zandro version even as far back as 1.0 (i dont know if its happened in skulltag as i didnt play it for long)

I've also observed this issue on a Hexen server in 2.1.2 as well. I've also observed random decorations (trees) turning invisible as well.

I noticed this issue twice today as well. For some reason, all the decorations on the map would turn invisible and one tree appeared as a dead gargoyle. Some of the dead monsters would randomly replay their death animation as well.

Interestingly, the sprites sometimes seem to change when this happens. In WaTaKiD's demo, the gargoyles turned into these particle things (bridge things?).

The second time it happened all items turned invisible as well. Interestingly, items remain invisible after they respawn as well.

It seemingly started to bug up right after I respawned the second time it happened (not too sure about this).

Got it a third time as well.

Got it a fourth time as well with another player on the server. One thing to note is that it happened simultaneously on both clients, i.e., both clients experienced the exact same desyncs and had the exact same amount of invisible items.

Happened in 2.1.2 with RGA2 Refined 140 in survival: all monsters became invisible and did not bleed but shot visible projectiles. Can't remember if decorations were visible, but ammo packs and health were.

The bug happened for both clients at the same time.

As a spectator, I saw that one of the unalert monsters was visible after we encountered invisible monsters but apparently turned invisible when he saw us (didn't see him actually do so, but saw the same monster type's projectiles in the same general location and the original visible monster being gone).

Exiting the map seemed to fix the bug.
