0001780: BFG plays sound and uses ammo but doesn't fire.
Sometimes (and my guess is this increases with lag/packetloss) when firing a bfg the sound will play and the bfg will use up ammo for as long as you keep +attack pressed down but it won't actually shoot a ball or inflict any damage.
Releasing +attack and refiring usually fixes the problem (if you're still alive ;) )
Happens from time to time in survival and most of the time when you're surrounded by a lot of monsters.

My guess is this happens because the packet containing the client command to fire the weapon is lost. The client predicts the firing anyway so it appears to fire but nothing comes out.

Is this something that can be fixable without an insane overhaul? Esp. if it's packet loss.

Happens to me with any projectile weapon some times. I'll try to demo it when I can if that would help.
