Summary | 0001759: Bugged shadows on GL renderer on linux with Mesa drivers on Intel (probably any mesa) |

Any time i play Legacy of Suffering i got these flickering nonsolid shadows, i checked it on zandronum 1.2 and knowing that gzdoom renderer being re-ported to zandronum2 i checked it. Which graphics?
glxinfo | grep OpenGL

|
|
|
Can you check all the gzdoom versions, starting from 1.5.2, and see which one fixed the problem? |

I can see a dynlight artifact in doom2 map06. Just watch the light in front of you and rotate the view left or right to see it in action. I'm not sure to know it it's the same as your problem. It doesn't happen in zandronum 1.3. Investigating the causes.
[edit] This commit seems to fix the issue for me, but I don't know which side effects may appear in SM4 cards. r1172 changes the file again with a SM4 check which uses old code somehow.

The mentioned commit was ported in 3.0. |

Since this is system specific and no one has really given any feedback in over a year, I'll mark this as resolved until someone brings up any issues. |
