Summary | 0001630: Broken portals |
Description | I´ve found some broken portals in JumpMaze 2, map 37 "Volcano Escape". In Zandronum 1.2 worked fine:'http://i.imgur.com/EAHRpIA.png?1 [^]'
But looks like that in Zandronum 2.0 not:

Downside view:'http://i.imgur.com/hqr0WfS.png [^]' |
Steps To Reproduce | Files used: skulltag_actors.pk3 skulltag_data_126.pk3 jumpmaze.wad jumpmaze_prm2.pk3 jumpmaze2_v7.pk3
As I said previously, its in map37 "Volcano Escape", not too far away from the beggining. |

I´ve just removed every room that isnt needed to view the portal, which means that you will start directly in front of it (there is a couple of missing textures though but that shouldnt be an issue).

Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. Strangely, the example wad works fine for me both with OpenGL and in software. Can you check if the problem persists with a clean ini? |

I have the impression that the ini files sometimes get corrupted when switching between different builds leading to very strange problems.
In case you still have the old ini file, you could go through it step by step to find out which setting caused the problem. If the problem is fixed for you, that's not really necessary though. |

You are right. I can reproduce the problem online, although it looks differently from your screenies. Can you go through these unofficial 2.0 beta builds and check in which build the problem first appeared? |

I found out what's going on. The fix I have currently only works for the software renderer, OpenGL crashes. Will look into this further. |
