0001421: OpenGL stacking drawn frames while out of focus
From what I noticed, the OpenGL stacks all frames drawn from the minute Candronum is put out of focus to the moment it is brought back to focus. However, the longer it stays out of focus, the slower the computer will run, until the maximum PC FPS reaches 0.1 frames per second, effectively freezing it.
- Open Zandronum (specially in an online multiplayer server)
- Leave it running
- Change focus to another window
- Keep doing something else for a while. You will notice your cursor will "skip" quite often.
While Zandronum uses a lot of CPU, this issue does not happen in Software. Why? Software doesn't "stack" frames and actively draws them even while the game is out of focus. This also aid if you are chatting with someone in something else (like Skype) while awaiting for the next LMS or Survival round, for you can see what is going on there.

You should try and see if it happens, and try in the latest GZDoom. Or else we can't help you.
