That was the idea. I don't know how spam bot prone Mantis is, so I stopped the tracker from being indexed as soon as we switched from the forum to the tracker. Most spam comes from a bot using Google and searching for keywords present on every install. For example to find all mantis trackers on the Internet just search for: "MantisBT Group"
If you feel that it's important that the tickets get indexed then I guess there are other ways we can deal with the spam if it starts appearing. |

I think it would be nice to have the tickets indexed. Do you think it would be easy to go back if we find out that too many spam bots are coming? |

It's difficult to say for sure, but I believe that would be possible. It'll take awhile for things to be removed from the index though. |
