0001237: Spectator movement without freelook
I suggest adding an option to make spectators fall to the ground if freelook is off; because currently you have to use fly up/down binds to move vertically in spectator mode and those binds aren't used anywhere but in such case (I don't have fly up/down binds at all, for example).

Why spectators even have to be affected by such a CVAR? O_o
I vote for allowing spectators to look freely if they use OpenGL.

If a player explicitly disables freelook, this of course disables freelook. No matter if the player is in game or a spectator. If freelook is only disabled by the server with a dmflag, spectators should still be able to use free look (and I think they are, but I didn't check this).

Odamex does this, though it would require that spectators have the ability to walk through any height in their way or else they'd get stuck in pits.
