Tooltips are transient, and you can't put as much information in them.
It's a pretty standard thing to do in nearly any other browser...the only one that I can think of that lacks this feature is IDE and Doomseeker. |

Doomseeker had this feature once and I removed it because I found it useless. |

So? I hide the buddy list and IRC client because I think _they're_ useless. Isn't one of the goals of Doomseeker to have a flexible and configurable user interface that the user can customize to their liking? |

For the record, the version Doomseeker had before was mostly inadequate (needed the scoreboard and such). I agree with AlexMax that a full fledged dock would be a nice feature, so consider it one of the things I'll get around to doing one of these days. |
