Summary | 0001030: Clients lag out more when connecting to a server with a high active monstercount |
Description | In Zan, i see everyone lagging out due to packetloss (Including myself) when connecting to a server with around 500 monsters active. In 98D this wasn't a problem at all (host stayed the same, grandvoid).
It's only the connecting and first few minutes though, if my ping is stabilized i can easily handle over a 1000 active monsters.
Included a demo trying to connect to GV chillax. |

can you test the alpha versions to see when the problem began? |

FYI, many of the fixes in 1.0 require the server to send more data to a newly connecting client. This may very well reduce the amount of monsters you can handle on connect for a given connection. |

Agreed. This is more of a duplicate of 1469 and since there are more comments and information in that ticket, this one will be closed. |
