can't finish a map in this one server...

sorry if this is the wrong sub-forum for this post but i've been playing the server Heretic: Hordes of Chaos X 1.05 [COOPERATIVE] #Cotemig98 for a few days now and am stuck on map E2M1.

i went through the buildings for the yellow key but after entering the west side of the town 2 gates raise up, blocking the path. upon dying and respawning at the start point in the east side of the map... the gates are still raised and there seems to be no way of lowering them again from this side.

cheats are disabled so i can't noclip past this spot and i don't know of any way to reset the map manually. this also means any others who join the server at this point are stuck in a seemingly broken map as well.

might someone here know a solution?

indeed the map is locked at that point as hocx is intended for single player

u can try opening the console and typing: callvote changemap e2m1
if that doesnt work, then try: callvote map e2m1
and if that doesnt work, u will have to mouse over the server in ur server browser and see if theres any contact info for the host so u can ask them to change it

yeah...email sent. cheating and voting are both disabled on that server.
