So I really hate that this is going to be my introductory post to this community, because from all accounts this seems like a pretty awesome place. But I'm at my wit's end. I've been using Zandronum for a while now as my go to, and I recently updated to 2.0 because hey, new version. Cool stuff. Now, I've got a relatively good PC, can run all the latest jazz. Never ever had an Open GL issue with Zandronum or any other Doom Source Port to my recollection, and this is a real weird one. And to make things even more confusing I think its sort of resolved, but I have to know what is causing it because it'll drive me crazy at this rate.
Randomly, and seemingly for a while until I reinstalled Zandronum with a totally clean installation, I was getting a totally white sky texture. This was persistent across levels, regardless of WAD used (Alien Vendetta, Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, you name it). Didn't matter what I did, except turn off Open GL. It would always seem to blank out. But if I COULD fiddle with resolution or whatnot to get the phobos or hell sky or whatever back, it would stay. But then when I booted the game again it would be gone if running Open GL.
Scouring the help forums and the bug tracker, I didn't see anything that remotely resembled this outcome. I took some screenshots, and the more I dabble with this the more it seems like it just takes time to load in the textures? I'm not entirely sure but anyone with more technical answers would be very much appreciated.

RE: Curious Open GL issue regarding Sky Textures
The only reference to odd sky colors I could find was this. I checked out Zandronum's OpenGL FAQ (http://wiki.zandronum.com/OpenGL_FAQ). It contains the issue 'I see abnormal colors from the sky':
Info on updating your drivers is on the same page. This could possibly be an issue with the video device drivers. Try updating the videos drivers. If this does not help to resolve the issue, it may be either a limitation with the video device or there is some configuration issues within the either the device OpenGL settings or Zandronum's OpenGL settings.

RE: Curious Open GL issue regarding Sky Textures
I did recently upgrade from a GeForce 560 Ti to a 970, so as bewildering as it seems, that may be what caused the issue for my system. I did try updating drivers last night before I made my post, which may explain why it's kinda/sorta working now. Its still just really odd to boot up E1M1 and half the time the sky is stark white.
Thanks for the reply :)
