Soundinfo is not working for some reason

okay, first off don't blame me for being stupid or not seeing the problem,

i'm making player classes, and everything works fine but the sounds aren't working, the pain and death sounds worked but the taunt button just uses
the default doomguy taunt as usual

heres a example of the problem with these classes

$playersound femalemarine male *taunt girltaunt

$playeralias femalemarine male *taunt playertaunt
$playeralias femalemarine female *taunt playertaunt2
$playeralias femalemarine other *taunt playertaunt
girltaunt DSITAUNT
$limit girltaunt 1

can anyone see the problem or is there no way?
