Hi,
First, I'm french, so sorry for my english, I try to do my best =)
Since some days, I try to make a server on Doomseeker, with Doom2 and BrutalDoom, to play with 2 friends.
I have opened my NAT port (I chose to use 10668), I created a new server on this port, and I managed to join it.
In "Options>Configure>Custom Servers" I added one with my IP adress and the same port, and it displayed in the server list.
But no one of my friends can join the serv. Even if they add the server in the "Custom Server" list, like me, the server isn't displayed in the server list. They try to join it by console of the game, with the "connect 192.168.1.**:10668" command, but the game does not load anything. It writes "Connect to..." many times and nothing.
Someone can help me?
Thank you!

Ok, thanks. I follow the instructions, and now, friends see my server in the list. But, when they joint it, the console opens and there is something like "Please make sure you are using the same wad as the server and try again". They have the same wads as me and the server, in the same folder on their dekstop.
Someone know how resolve this problem please?
EDIT : I solve this. A f*cking noobish error with WAD.
Thank you very much!

YOU don't necessarily need to because it could also be their version that's wrong.NEWSDAVIDBR wrote: when this make sure you are using the same wad is a really fucking problem because some computers cant load then so you need change this wad
