Why is my avatar unchangeable?

As a die hard patrick star fan, I cry to say I need to change my avatar but it's time. I've spent the past week changing it every day from the User CP and it just DOESNT update. What's wrong?

Refresh/flush your cache. Do this is the User Control Panel right after changing your avatar, that's the best way to see your new avatar. Press F5 or CTRL-F5 (or shift-f5 in some browsers) EDIT: Added this info to the avatar page

Wish it would auto refresh. I would recommend maybe putting that comment in there for future users since I recall others having this problem.

I've added a comment to the avatar chaning script as well. At the moment I'm not aware of a way to force the image update while retaining the advantages of caching.
