I was wondering if anyone has had any success with doing this? I have been able to get the Steam overlay to display if I add IDE as a non steam game and then join a server. But the problem with this is I leave IDE open in the background all day so if I play another game on steam it says I'm still running Zandronum (renamed IDE as Zandronum in the steam game library) which no shit I have IDE open but I'm hardly playing Zandronum.
I really don't want to have to keep closing and opening IDE to search for servers. Is there a way I can somehow force IDE to launch Zandronum with parameters to run the steam overlay executable as well?

Same. I also keep IDE opened almost always. I tried setting Steam's shortcut to Zandro as its binary, but it isn't working, obviously. And overlay would be cool for many things...
