Hi all.
Long time single player doomer here, but I'm a newb with zandronum and also doomseeker. In fact, I don't think I've ever played Doom multiplayer!
I'm on a non-standard GNU/Linux system and it was necessary to compile both doomseeker and zandronum from source. In each case, I've built from the latest git commits.
I figured out doomseeker, and started trying to join some servers, but here is my problem, my version of zandronum too new! It looks like most of the servers I see are using 3.2-alpha-r241030-1744 or 3.1-r211211-2135. The tags and branches in the git repo appear to be inherited from zdoom/gzdoom. I don't see anything in there zandronum-specific that would lead me to any key, common release.
Before posting, I did try the Linux binary provided here, but it has broken deps for me. Also, this system does not have flatpak support, so I'd prefer to just build zandronum as opposed to dealing with the broken deps or flatpak.
Any idea which commit I should be trying to build to match up with one of the above "more common" releases?
Thanks!
