[J] Jormungand
RE: [J] Jormungand
Jormungand HQ will be updated soon.
Little hint about the update:
"An Invasion has settled upon the Sacred Battleground of Jormungand. Now, Hekmatyar's creations form an alliance with our brave heroes who will vanquish our enemies."

RE: [J] Jormungand
Hey, I know that haven't been active for awhile but thats because I have some serious shit to take care over IRL. Hopefully, I'll be scriming again soon.
RE: [J] Jormungand
Little announcement to all Jormungand members!
It's time to perform a cleanup of the members' roster. Anyone who would like to leave the clan, should either reply :
- To me (IRC chat)
- On the forums
- In game
Like that, we can have a better view of who's still willing to remain in the clan and commence further plans :)

RE: [J] Jormungand
I'd like to make each and every Zandronum'er remember that they can send newcomers to this awesome community to our clan for a temporary 'bootcamp'. Like that, we can help them much easier becoming worthy opponents to all of us. See us as some sort of "employment agency"; We, here, at Jormungand, will train the newbies (both a taste of the competitive and development side) and redirect them to other clans who are in search of new people.
I am very well aware that we aren't the best clan in the entire community, but we are open to spend time and make effort for them in order for this community to be rejuvenated!

RE: [J] Jormungand
Genuine question, what would anyone learn from joining your clan in a 'bootcamp' context? Maybe it's just me but i rarely see any of you scrim or play competitive game modes, so what would you offer to a player who wants better themselves in the competitive community over other clans or even staying clanless?

I am looking forward to receive well-trained and experienced new DC-members through this method. Dont give up on this !

Thank you for your response.Samurai wrote: Genuine question, what would anyone learn from joining your clan in a 'bootcamp' context? As I mentioned in my previous post; We are aware that we aren't the best clan in the entire community. What we could offer is some knowledge that we all in Jormungand share. I am very aware, again, that other clans might do better at this, but we are standing open for this option towards newcomers. I think I should've stated it better, but the following might clear things up: Making newcomers come to our clan, doesn't necessarily mean that they should join our clan. That option is only for those who'd like to join. I think that, if we had a newcomer here, we could give you an easier example. Kinda hard to explain without image :o
Thanks again for your genuine question. :)

I see, so i guess you're introducing new players to the scene, and maybe giving them a stepping stone of such to other opportunities if they arise whilst playing for J. That seems to make sense, I wish you luck with it.

They don't play for Jormungand. And we won't encourage them to do so, unless they want to. But yes, we are just one small stepping stone of the many others towards the top :)Samurai wrote: I see, so i guess you're introducing new players to the scene, and maybe giving them a stepping stone of such to other opportunities if they arise whilst playing for J. We will only have benefit by helping the newcomers, not to "upgrade" or enlargen our clan. That is NOT what I'd like to accomplish with this idea.

RE: [J] Jormungand
Two of our spanish talkin' ppl, Cyborgd- and Praef, have left the clan.
I do understand why. My clan is pretty much stuck here and we lack the experienced players for CTF.
Was very nice to have you in our clan! I really appreciate your time here with the clan!

Keep in mind, fella's:
We're still open to receiving new people to guide them towards the competitive side and showing them a thing or two about how things roll here. So the "Jormungand Bootcamp" idea still remains. If you find new people and if they want to learn more, send em over to us! :)
We welcome them with wide open arms :) (Like that, MOAR CANNONFODDER FOR US... or might we become the cannonfodder? :o)

Do not worry about me, good friend. I loved having you around. You can still 'lulz' around in the clan channel if you wish! :DBaronOfLulz wrote: Thanks for everything Hek, I had great time in jormungand but its time for me to go.
Good luck finding a new clan I suppose! :D
