DoomSeeker Showing only Skulltag Servers
Oi all, got another problem.
I've recently been trying to get the latest build of DoomSeeker with Zandronum working for a Steam group dedicated to playing Doom online. For some frustrating reason, even thought I set the exact location of Zandronum, I always keep getting Skulltag servers, as shown in this pic:

Also, if it matters, I got my port set to "25565".
Any help?

FYI.. Zandro is not Final, or at least Finished.. It is still Alpha, thus no Major Server Host.. (cept Armada) hosts Zandronum. It should show at least a few zandro servers. Best to get IDE, as it properly displays them, but then again, DoomSeeker should as well.
You should set Zandronum as the testing folder, and keep skulltag in as the default under Skulltag. It should detect that its a Zandro server, and will launch it upon clicking, if set up right

I'll try that later. Thanks for the help, whether it helps or not.

Err... it doesn't know the difference between a Skulltag server and a Zandronum server... you just put the master list under Skulltag so they all show up with the Skulltag symbol.

So what you're saying is, and pardon my ignorance if I'm wrong, the servers are Zandronum even though they have the Skulltag symbol?Llewellyn wrote: Err... it doesn't know the difference between a Skulltag server and a Zandronum server... you just put the master list under Skulltag so they all show up with the Skulltag symbol.

Some of them are, it won't know the difference.PortalFreak996 wrote: So what you're saying is, and pardon my ignorance if I'm wrong, the servers are Zandronum even though they have the Skulltag symbol?
Skulltag and Zandronum are both basically the same thing. Zandronum is just like an updated Skulltag. You're getting all these servers off the Zandronum master list which still broadcasts Skulltag servers.

Do you see any of Vicious Pariah's survival servers? If so, then you can see Zandronum servers just fine.

RE: DoomSeeker Showing only Skulltag Servers
check the version
if it starts with "98", it's a skulltag server
if it starts with "1", it's a zandronum server
if it starts with "98", it's a skulltag server
if it starts with "1", it's a zandronum server

If you would read the home page carefully you would see the following:PortalFreak996 wrote: I've recently been trying to get the latest build of DoomSeeker with Zandronum working for a Steam group dedicated to playing Doom online. The solution that allows you to play both Skulltag and Zandronum in Doomseeker is following:zandronum.com wrote: (Note: To avoid errors, don't enable both Skulltag and Zandronum querying at the same time)
First of all you need to download this build of Doomseeker because older ones did not produce proper URLs for testing binaries:
http://svn.drdteam.org/doomseeker/dooms ... 7-1903.zip
Now, once you get that installed, do the following:
- Disable the Skulltag plugin (in the Query menu).
- Enable the Zandronum plugin (in the Query menu).
- Configure the Zandronum plugin so that the main executable path points to skulltag.exe (Options -> Configure -> Engines -> Zandronum ).
- Enable 'testing builds' for Zandronum.
