Awesome Deathmatch
(an Deathmatch Wad)
A Place to play this awesome deathmatch with a kind of classic Deathmatch and Duels belong it Wich is made by me,specially the awesome deathmatch outcomes with Maps maded for the wad (wich is in Progress).

There are 45 Slot Limit to work in a DM map.
NOTE!!! Maps should be created in GZDoom Builder (Zandronum Doom In Hexen Format or Doom in UDMF Format)

Rules:
-Maps should be created as well in Zandronum Doom in Hexen Format or Zandronum Doom in UDMF Format
-The Maps should be a bit decent.
-Give it a good name for your map or a stupid name.. it's ok.

So.. You must required using the Skulltag Actors and data for some Textures from here if you wish.

We have a IRC channel for the users if they wish to work in there or to send his finished map : #AwesomeDM

That screenshot does not look particularly "awesome" to me...

What's with everyone making shitty community projects without any prior experience? Start out with something small and work your way up.

If you're going to make DM or any competitive maps\projects, please do research - they're not as easy as what you might think they are.

You should definitely not make this a community project, its going to be far too much to handle. Get a group of 3 or 4 mappers together and make something with a more unified vision, it always turns out better. Take it from someone who's been there and done that.

Keep working on it by all means, just try to think a bit smaller.. Maybe 10 maps that you put a lot of work into, rather than 45 - that's a truckload of maps for anyone T juggle, let alone a newbie to the WADding scene.

Keep working, I just recommend revising the project - don't stop, though.

I shouldn't need to highlight the most obvious, but - maybe it glossed over you while you were reading or skimming it (or a faulty translator?). I can see that you're new or inexperienced in level designing, which is fine as most of us have all been there before (myself included), but you really need to work with a small project or a single map instead of being this ambitious with forty-five maps. Doing so, you'll slowly develop skills with map designing and proper layouts.

I've come a long way in terms in mapping.

I've come to "Gigantic shit mapping" to just "shit/average mapping". What I usually like to do in order to fancy up my map, is add trimming around certain walls and doors. For example; add 2 strips of approx 8 pixels wide with the "DOORSTOP" texture, while you have a door texture in between 'em.

That's what I usually do, which eventually led me to do such kinds of things to everything I see on my maps... depending on my motivation.
