Hi! I have made a weapons mode that is extremely competitive and balanced for doom and doom II

EDIT: ALL THE TOPICS WERE MERGED. PLEASE SEE THE BOTTOM OF THE FIRST POST FOR LINKS TO THE INDIVIDUAL MOD POSTS

you gotta know what weapons to guard, you gotta know what weapons to use, and you gotta know how to press fire

Most importantly, these weapons are all extremely good so if you don't get frags you only have yourself to blame, not rng

These weapons are meant for competition and that means ONLY CTF OR DUEL but they were heavily tested in single player.

Changes
Chainsaw!
Now alerts everybody very clearly, no sneaky cheap kills, hear the screams of the underworld and the dead!!!!!

Pistol:

Speaks for itself. This mod makes it balanced for everybody because now you can't make any excuses if you don't kill someone!

shotgun!
Shoots a lot of pellets, definitely can't blame rng for not killing someone

Chaingun!
Ever have difficulties trying to decide whether you wanted to use a chaingun or rocket launcher? Think no more, now you got two in one with this bad boy! No more cheap sniping either, with a 200 horizontal spread, your enemies will never hit you with the hitscans! But if they do it's instant death so it's okay!

Super Shotgun!
Everyone complains about the sSg being wayyyy too powerful so I slowed it down, made it consume tons of ammo, and made it look like christmas to boot!

Rocket launcher!
Still can't decide between hitscans or rockets? Say no more, these rockets go so fast you don't even see the sprite!

Plasma!
Now a real hallway filler

Next up date will have ALTERNATIVE FIRING like homing miss-aisles and more destructive bfg for ultimate balance

i have a good mod http://www.[bad site]/download?file= ... eapons.wad competitive weaphttp://www.[bad site]/download?file= ... eapons.wadons it is supposed to be very competitive tested over 20 years of doom for balance so the balance is good for the competitive people in doom we think of them first because the balance for the competitive scene is important doom ctf is hard and tried gamemode needs good balance, maybe this will revitalize the doom community?

here are competitive balance changes:[spoiler]
fist - hurt in always brutal berserk mode

chainsaw - makes player go faster

pistol - faster because its weak

shotgun - added vertical spread and a few more pellets

super shotgun - non random spread, line up your target for the most accuracy! guaranteed VERY doom random for always kill 1 hit

chaingun - chaintapping is easier

rocket launcher - easier to rocket jump and rocket is faster

plasma gun - balance for less spam

bfg - fires very powerful shot, but takes longer to charge and more ammo, worth the wait

yes, BUT YOU NEED TO TAKE SEVERL IMPORTANT STEPS FOR COMPAT
1: you need to put brutal doom IN a folder called SKINS that is already in the SKINS folder
2: put these weapons in your ANNOUNCERS folder
3: put the wads together via ODALAUNCH
4: lastly, run it in ZDAEMON

maybe you need to try RE- DOWN LOAD ING the wad and try to play DOOM with it not strife

i dled it and set compatflags 21242356 and zacompatflags 69 but it crahsed with gothicdm
