I have to chuckle at the fact such a serious BFG mechanics discussion occurred in the wake of an obvious troll attempt by Watermelon.

All because ibm said something wrong. I didn't know there were players today who didn't figure out how it worked after so many years of playing.

That was a great read, thanks for sharing. I thought the center of the cone stays where the projectile was fired and you had to face in the same direction as the cone for it to work.Fused wrote: This should give a better explanation on how it works.

Not to be a dick, but I figured out how this gun worked when I was like 6 years old playing doom with my dad.
And you guys are here today as atleast 18+ (i hope) and you're having a pointless arguement on how a weapon that was programmed 20+ years ago works, don't you have anything better to do with your life? For example go out with friends? Or even play doom with friends isntead of argue over it?
