R667's salvation sphere. Made the background transparent in GIMP.
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my grandfather did - in his sleep. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.

Well, I updated mine to another, this time I actually made the colors bloom, added some faint features I OCD'd about, and gave a faint black outline (can't see it unless you have a different forum theme than default, RIP).

Looks a lot better than the last by a long shot.

Removing backgrounds is still a pain, but sometimes easy.

i made mine from the opening FMV of the PSX remake of Final Fantasy. i used a program to convert the FMV from the actual disc to an AVI, and then i used a video to gif program to edit out everything but the dragon and convert it to a really nice gif. if square-enix wants to sue me, let'em! all thell get is $.75 and a kick in the teeth.

It'd be a waste of money for them to, nothing to gain by suing one person over a forum avatar (said forum they probably will never learn exists). It'd probably cost more than cents just for Square to get started on it. lol.

I found it from a random Facepunch thread in the TF2 games section.

It was a post with someone making a few of these animated sprite things for whatever.

Got it from one of 4chan's /vr/'s DOOM thread.
Reminded me of JoJo's Bizarre adventure, and figured it'd be fun to have.

My current one, the muscle dog man, was a quick silly sketch that a guy called Virt did as a joke in an IRC channel after I showed off a MS Paint dog status bar face. I asked if I could use it as an avatar, changed the background to purple/transparent (depending on the website's limitations), and started using it everywhere. It's so lovely~

Mine is Courage the dog from Courage the Cowardly Dog. After browsing pictures one day I happened to find this, and it really does bring back the good memories. Boy do I miss that show so much! It was one of my favorite cartoons I used to watch back in the day too.

Splash art for the MechWarrior Online iteration of the Ebon Jaguar (Inner Sphere name Cauldron-Born).

That is, if anyone can see my avatar. :(
