I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima. It looks dated but I love it, it's got a lot of power for a car that I only paid $2500 for and haven't dropped any upgrades in (yet). Never been to the track but I can do 0-40mph in like 3.5s (60mph takes a little longer but I have awesome low end). I've never gone much faster than 100mph but I do 90 in the fast lane on a daily basis and haven't gotten ticketed (yet). :p I know my car can get up to 150mph no problem, if given enough space. No clue what it tops out at but my spedometer goes up to 200.

I'll post pics if people actually want to see a boring, unriced Maxima.

I own a 1997 toyota camry conquest.



Look almost exactly like the one pictured, mine is silver. Rides smooth, relatively fuel efficient, a nice "luxury" sedan that has aged very well.

here is my ride, its a 2006 fiat punto with the lusso trim. very fuel efficient and pretty snappy for such a low power car, the engine is a 1.2L 8-valve that produces a whopping 60HP (lol).

I used to drive my dad's Toyota Seca around, it had a similar engine IIRC, but now that I have the V6, I don't think I could live without the extra push for uphill drives - The seca used to struggle! I'm guessing the FIAT is probably better built overall though.

Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary (1988)

I'm not sure what I like about it but it's got a sharp body design that I haven't really seen anywhere else.

I tolerate "smooth" bodied cars that I've been seeing from the 90s onward (sometimes they can look kind of cool) but really I miss the hard edges of the 80s, the shape of the muscle cars from the 60s and 70s, and the over the top chrome from the 50s.

I know why they phased that out (pedestrian safety, fuel economy, crash safety, etc...), and I don't really expect them to go back, but I still miss that style.

I totally get what you mean, jwaffe. All cars made in the last 5-10 years tend to look like motorized jellybeans. Like you said though, they're safer and more fuel efficient and all that.

Oh man, the nostalgia... Anyone remember/see Pivot Stick Figure animations? Yeah, I dug one up on my hdd from YEARS ago, I was 9 in 2006... Rofl. Anyway I found it and re-exported it to better quality. It's basically a 3 frame car loop (I think I was testing something?).
