Nah, I think this shit that didn't even get started was worse ...

A tournament that doesn't happen cannot be ran badly, it just isn't run at all.

But when you go around and pick Euro players (who you say are more active and likely to participate) and sprinkle in random Americans you like, set the teams at 4, set the schedules, then change things whenever you want including swapping team lineups on the last regular match of the season! Wow. I was hyped about this tournament to start because it was interesting but now it is just dumb.

actually 2weekctf got even worse in matter of replacements leading to massive teams' unbalancements, but it's not like it's organizers' fault if players get unreliable for their valid or not-so-valid reasons.
Honestly I would be more concerned about people turning privs into total crap with their clan stacking/dumb trolling instead of judging people trying to keep competition alive on this wrecked port, just saying
How long you been playing doom man? There has been and will always be nothing but trolling, clan stacking, dumb ass players. You can either spend your time bitching and complaining about it or you can have fun playing the game and live with the stupidity. I mean seriously you can try any other game with multi-player and get the same results every time. The world is full of idiots. I'm not ashamed to admit I'm one of them. :)

P.S. I love how my posts draw in JZ and Samurai every time. Two peas in a pod I guess.

It's actually going well. All the games have been played so far, only had to sub a couple of inactive players but nothing major. Everyone who is participating is having fun and are producing some good games. Not sure why you're getting involved in trying to bash a successful tourney that has no relevance to you whatsoever? Maybe you'd feel more comfortable if instead you would make forum posts about Danzoa's shit again

In short, don't like it, fuck off and go cry somewhere else.

I just checked the teams and OH FOR GOD'S SAKE, have a fucking Free Agency List next time. It's unfair that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

Week 4 is done and this was slightly tougher than week 3 due to arguements but we pulled through yet again and it turned out fine!
Scores for the lazy:
SW vs Wumbo: 1 - 2 - 0
FR vs TPS: 0 - 2 - 1
CW vs TFS: 2 - 0 - 0
Good luck in week 5 everyone, the last week of regular season where Map02 will be the chaotic ending!

Week 5 has officially ended and I think we should give a big thank you to both SW and TFS who fought bravely to what is their end in this league! I'd also like to thank all the participants for making this a 100% successful regular season in terms of getting the games played, very well done!
Scores for the lazy:
TFS vs SW: 2 - 0 - 0
CW vs FR: 2 - 0 - 0
Wumbo vs TPS: 1 - 2 - 0

CW, TPS, Wumbo and FR have qualified to the playoffs! CW and TPS took the 1st and 2nd seed in that order and are now entitled to a homefield map for week 6, and they can choose any map but the final one and any of those that has been played in the regular season (week 1 - 5).
The homefield will be announced by tomorrow (Tuesday) so all the teams can get practice for the coming maps. Seed #1 will play Seed #4 and Seed #2 will play Seed #3 so the matches are the following:
CW vs FR
TPS vs Wumbo

Good luck everyone!

Both teams have now picked their homefield map for Week 6! It happens to be that both of us wanted 26. So both matches will be played on Map26!

Good luck to everyone.

This concludes the playoffs:
CW vs FR: 2 - 0 - 0
TPS vs Wumbo: 2 - 0 - 0

This means that it's CW vs TPS in the finals!
Good luck everyone!

After a very VERY messy start of the finals... That eventually turned out in pretty good games and to end in very exciting games. I'm happy to announce that the first season of IEFL is now officially over!

I'd very much like to thank ALL the participants for making this possible, and for actually fulfilling everything, making this the first sucessful CTF league on Zandro(?).
After a very intense final match it ends in a win for TPS 3 - 2!

I originally had a spring/summer season planned next year, but I don't believe I'll make that and I'll just go straight for autumn/winter season again for season 2.
I'd like to give a HUGE thank to Water who basically was my go-to-guy when stuff became tough or when I was uncertain about different things.

I apologize for all the rash decisions that was made that made it seem to give me and my team the advantage, but that was NOT the case wether you believe it or not. It was just the most efficient way to solve it for the time being. It was the first season and you can't expect it to be flawless, you just can't. I'm very happy the way it turned out anyway.

Again I thank you all for making this possible - Stay tuned for next season!

EDIT: You can move this to finished now.

'Grats to both for making it to the finals and offering us some solid and intense games!

Such a shame that server lags had to mess games up.
