North Korea couldn't even win Africa (with respect), the air force is damn old from world war 2, the submarines too, the guns and tanks are damn old, the only thing people are afraid is that "they have a nuclear bomb", but, think with me, a country that is capable to make a nuclear bomb wouldn't be able to make modern aircraft and tanks?

Depends on the missiles and if it is just conventional artillery or nuclear (even then, there are many types of artillery and megaton yields have been lowered over the years in turn for better accuracy). Even then, in the case of an invasion, it would most likely be a series of strategic strikes rather than some all-out barrage.

Also, anti-missile defenses/batteries.

Ehh, Germany took over almost the whole of mainland Europe in WW2 and even destroyed London with taht air siege, Hitler lost because of his pathetic invasion of his ally Russia which turned the tables. If not for that, we all would have been fucked. But eh right now the UK might have a stronger army, but Germany is leading economy wise :)

There are only three, maybe four countries on Earth with enough military power to successfully invade the UK, and none of them would be stupid enough to try. If they did, the UK's allies (namely the USA, UN and NATO) would intervene to assist the UK, which would most likely trigger the start of World War 3.

You guys have missed the greatest threat of them all. Mexico could easily reduce UK to rubble with their ridiculously powerful albeit unorthodox arsenal. Their "JAJAJAJAJA XDXDXDXD" chant is the equivalent of a sonic bomb. Their cactus launchers can turn even the greatest tank into a desert skeleton and the sand they spread everywhere dehydrates everything.

I know the purpose of this thread was to troll people (apparently) but your stupidity on this subject is starting to annoy me.

Germany took over half of the European Mainland you say? Nazi Germany controlled Germany, Austria, Poland, and a couple of other European countries in the peak of it's control of WWII. Here is a map of the land it controlled during the conflict, but by your post I think you're referring to the significance of Nazi Rule, rather than Germany Territory.



Italy, Turkey, Japan, etc were Allies of Germany during WWII, but they certainly weren't German themselves. So no, Germany really didn't control "almost the whole of mainland Europe", far from it in retrospect.

You're 2nd part of your post, you mention something about the Germans destroying London? Whilst it was true London was bombed, to say it was destroyed? If London was ever 'destroyed' the Government would have surrendered, and I would probably be typing to you in German right now. But please realise that London was bombed yes, it wasn't destroyed. If you want to know about a city that was bombed into destruction, research the city of Dresden.

Your 3rd sentence, There were a lot of causes to what turned the tide of the German progression of Europe, and one of the major reasons was the Battle of Stallingrad in Russia, where the Russians repelled the German attack before pursuing them back to Germany. It was evident that Germany couldn't afford to fight a war on the Eastern and Western Front, thus from here it was only a matter of time until they surrendered. I'll give you that one.

Your 4th point, I don't really understand how you judge our army. I'll be obviously biased but I think our marines are of the highest quality in the world, all be it small in number compared to the likes of Russia or the USA's military. I can't really comment on Germany's military in the 21st centaury since I don't really know enough about it, but their economy is much better than ours, but then again that isn't hard since were just recovering from an economic recession in 2008.

Is this a serious reply? I'll treat it is and say Brazil has little to no force projection or anything comparable than what something like the United States is capable of.

The invasion of the UK will and MUST result to naval capabilities. No other country on the planet currently can project that amount of force other than the US, and in order to push any aerial offensive you'll need carriers for logistics.

I doubt Brazil could take itself over if it divided.
