Because they haven't updated it to 1.2.1?

There are quite a few clusters still using 1.2, still

While there are some nice fixes in this version, I was hoping to get a response on this

I was going to give it more time (maybe another week) and see if they release a new version.

Common sense would dictate not to download new versions before servers are updated.

From the big servers' perspective, 1.2.1 was kinda unnecessary because those servers were already patched before the new version was released.
As jwaffe reminds, it's not a flawless release, also with the repository versions reportedly not being network compatible, so I can see why server admins would wait for a fixed version.

You should query server admins for more information on updating.

Hi, so the only thing to do is: use V1.2.1? Correct?

At the moment don't upgrade to v1.2.1 because no one is using it. Server-wise.

Nope. Then developers ought to reverse in the repository to 1.2. Sort of setback it is.

I have archive directories of both 1.2 and 1.2.1 in the home folder (ubuntu 14.04) cuz it's more flexible to alter, in case some other version became actual.
