Only tried the heretic one randomly without playing and find them pretty good, can you extend some songs like the one in e2m4? those seem to get less time than they seem to need at start.
Only gripe is I find my favorite one e2m5 less good than the original, I have no idea why but I guess the original grew up on me lol -hence fav-

Yes, I do have plans to update Heretic's music and I might actually be able to get that done sometime soon.

I've been busy with other stuff lately, but I just got 6 previews for Doom's 20th anniversary uploaded and the links are in a new section in the first post named Doom 20th Anniversary Soundtrack previews. They may not be the final versions of the tracks so just check them out and enjoy them for now.

Also, here's a Duke Nukem 3D track as a bonus: http://www.mediafire.com/listen/iuiqzt3 ... D_E3L6.mp3

Duke Nukem 3D preview links have been fixed. Also, I have released a shareware version of Doom's soundtrack for the upcoming 20th anniversary in December. It can be downloaded in MP3, OGG, and WAD forms. The music tracks included are the same ones that can be heard in the shareware version of Doom. Links can be found in the Doom 20th Anniversary Soundtrack spoiler. Try them out and let me know what you think!

One more week remaining until Doom's 20th anniversary. On that day, I will release my project which contains remastered music from the majority of the Doom engine games and that includes Doom, Doom II: Hell on Earth, Final Doom TNT: Evilution, Heretic and Hexen: Beyond Heretic. So, be sure to watch out for it!

After working on it for about half the year and going through several revisions along the way, the Doom 20th Anniversary Music Collection is now released! New things include Final Doom TNT: Evilution music and a WAD file for Plutonia! The music included in this collection is from: Doom, Doom II, Final Doom TNT: Evilution, Heretic and Hexen. Check the spoiler in the first post for the download links and be sure to read the information and known issues there as well. Happy 20th anniversary to Doom, the greatest game ever made!

Note: MP3 versions will be uploaded and added later in the day.

I accidentally overwrote the OGG versions on Dropbox with the MP3 versions. It will be fixed soon.

I did a preview of your songs in Slade. Why are you not rendering with Wrap remainder? It sounds like you have Leave Remainder on. Doing the former would allow proper looping with your oggs.

I did something similar today with the Shareware OST that uses Wrap Remainder, which properly loops in Zdoom.

I used cut remainder for everything. The files within the WAD files, however, were all edited in GoldWave to have their endings edited to make the songs loop while playing in the games. I may release those versions in MP3 and OGG.

well i have long time without check what is new in doom community but this is one of the first thing i come to see, first i liked the "anniversary" doom music, songs like the intro, d_runnin and other are better, but maybe D_doom or D_romero aswell D_adrian i feel them, well not bad just not like before, but tbh i loved almost all ;)
Whitout a good PC ATM, i will back when 2.0 come out, :)

Hi Alex, the reason why the 20th anniversary versions sound different is because I wanted them to sound like enhanced versions of the originals without using too many special effects. However, you could send me a private message or e-mail me if you'd like to request special versions of certain tracks and I'll even post them in this thread. Those old v4.5 tracks had some things that could be improved on, anyways.
