Halodoom SWAT Gamemode, complete with headshots!

This video was made to test and showcase the new SWAT Gamemode in Halodoom and to test out the new headshot system. If you are unfamiliar with Halo style SWAT, headshots are a one hit kill and body shots require about 3 depending on the weapon, also melee is a one hitter as well. This is also a first showing of a multiplayer map that is a new spin on a Doom 1 classic, enjoy and if you like this please subscribe to us :)

Thanks a lot! There have actually been more improvements since this video as well haha. Overall i'm pleased with how well headshots turned out.

Im happy you still working, oh and i love that gamemode (more in halo 4, map heaven)
Whitout a good PC ATM, i will back when 2.0 come out, :)

I still remember when the multiplayer highlight was sprite-based everything. This has come phenomenally far! Very nicely done.

Me too, it's still a lot of fun after all these years :p Agreed, in fact it's something I have always wanted to have in Halodoom since the Halo 2 days, once I figured out a good way to do headshots, seemed like a natural fit :)

Ah yes, the good ol' days of taking screenshots in Halo 3 and cutting out the backgrounds haha. Thanks alot :D

Yeah, basically everything is redone, even the game-play dynamics are drastically different to make it feel more like a Halo game haha.

Slowly but surely? haha. That is the point of these videos, to show what is being worked on, and how close it is to completion. Right now some of these new features aren't refined to the point of being in a state of public release there are still some bugs to be worked out, but rest assured they are being worked on and the next public release will be very broad and diverse.
