Doom 2 demo files questions

#1

Post by Tito » Fri Aug 30, 2013 6:54 pm

I recorded a Doom 2 demo using the built in demo recorder of Doomseeker. Now I wonder if there is a way to convert the demo files into a normal movie files like avi, mpeg4,...because I want to upload it to Youtube. The demo files comed at .cld files, and I have no ideas what is cld files or if they can be converted to another format. So some question I have are: What is cld files? and Can they be convert into another format like .avi, .mpeg4,...? Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

I know that I can record my demo by any screen recorder, but the recorder program I used (Bandicam) reduced the frames rate of the demo to only about 10-15 fps which is really laggy. So I want to ask if I there are any programs out there that can covert .cld files straight to .avi files.
, but thanks for your reply anyway.

try recording using FRAPS. Although it isn't free and uses more of your PC resources, it gets the best quality and can record at 30FPS and 60FPS.
