My Sandy Peterson Type Wad

So I have been fascinated by the Doom the way ID did it. Well I kinda just went ham on a sandy Peterson level. I would like someone to check it out and tell me how it plays (I mean it doesn't have to be Sandy Petersonish) I just want to know if it's good. I can beat it (obviously I made it to my skill level) But I will take critiques and suggestions.

Hey.

You should post in-game screenshots, not map editor screenshots. Player is interested in gameplay part, not technical part.

So, first to notice, the map is not very detailed. I actually like the lack of detail, if the map is at least open-spaced or interesting. However, this map does not have any of it.

It uses Zdoom features, ACS scripting, yet the map is supposed to be old-school. Low quality does not go well with advanced features, whose are not necessary. Please use Boom format, if you want to make an oldschool map.

Monsters are placed not so badly, however right after lowering the pillars you get ambushed by spectres and I found myself losing all ammo.

After lowering the red pillars, I got stuck. Couldn't find a way, I think the map is bugged.

So, overall, the map is not good. But don't worry, I have made many much worse maps.

Hmm the map lacks a cruel trap or twist of some sort -like the pain elementals room in the pit or the arachnotron invasion on dead simple -although you made it a slaughterfest just like sandy's-. the map itself looks uglier than petersen maps tbh -at least the blue area-.. Also it was criminally easy.

Try more and one side note : Try only to copy some of his gameplay twists and for design mimic romero...

P.S. I know its unfinished since the red door is set to open using walk trigger..
