New System : Radio Contact added.

Press V to activate Radio Menu like BF series.
Move mouse to select words and click to speak.

If Cooperation, everyone could heard and saw what did you said.
But TDM, only your teammates can saw your speaking with Radio.
But in close distance, everyone can here your voices.

Military FPS modification for Doom2, used Zandronum engine.
Basically designed for Multiplayer.
There is two team called Red and Blue and they fight each other until Team Score limits end.
Will be exist expansion called "Bomb Squad", this will refer Counter Terrorism against national terrorists.

[File Information]
There are 6 files,
MCLS.pk3 : Main pwad. Weapons, ACS, Everything except Maps(exclude Training Course)
TDM_MAPS.pk3 : Normal DM maps, also support cooperative. MAP01 ~ MAP06 supported.
ZM_MAPS.pk3 : Maps for Zombie Mode, Survival Co-Op Only! MAP01 ~ MAP02 supported.
OD7_MAPS.pk3 : Maps for New Episode : OPERATION DARK-7
MCLS_DE : Edit MCLS.PK3 for playing normal doom play. Must with Adaptor.
MCLS_Adaptor.wad : Help to play MCLS in normal doom playing. Must with MCLS_DE.wad

[How to Play? Game Mod?]
MCLS support TDM and Survival Cooperation.
Normal Deathmatch, CTF and others not support.

If want play :
MCLS.pk3 + TDM_MAPS.pk3 : Original Team Deathmatch and Coop. Set TDM or Survival Co-Op.
MCLS.pk3 + OD7_MAPS.pk3 : OPERATION DARK-7 maps. Set TDM or Survival Co-Op.
MCLS.pk3 + ZM_MAPS.pk3 : Zombie Invasion. Must set Survival Co-Op.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLAYER NUMBERS for TDM : 3vs3, 4vs4.

Must you should't : DON'T SET DROP WEAPON FLAG.
And has custom CVARs :
mcls_scorelimits <number> : Set Match end Score. MCLS TDM is different from original TDM. Killing enemies to gain points and make team victory.
default is 5000.
mcls_fastregen <0/1> : Makes regenerate HP faster. default 0.
mcls_noHPDrop <0/1> : Don't drop medikit on player death. default 0.
mcls_noWPDrop <0/1> : Don't drop weapons on player death. default 0.
mcls_doubleexp <0/1> : Twice EXP Gaining. default 0.

[How to play with normal Doom?]
Run Zandronum with these two words : MCLS_DE.wad, MCLS_Adaptor.wad.
Do not launch another wads with.
Instead, you can put custom maps or just can play original doom2.
One thing you should do :
-Do not Reset Loadout while you alive. If you activate Loadout reset, LOADOUT will not work.
-In cooperative, once selected equipments are cannot be change.
But dead respawn can do it. (Every equipments are remove, except Rank-Up Reward weapons)
-Not Headshot support on Doom Edition( yet).

[In Game Play]
-Before the playing, Registration your account first.
It can be easily with just push "Auto Registration Key" (default [).
Not registered player cannot receive special bonuses and systems also EXP.
-In Deathmatch, Respawned player is invincible for 3 seconds.
-If you want change your Equipments, Press Reset Loadout Key(defaukt ]) to activate reset. After respawn, you can choose and will be invincible while selecting.

[BUGS]
-Special Weapon Kits unlock conditions are not working correctly.
-BAD ENGLISH(BUG?). Need translator. I'm from Republic Of Korea.




This is beta version, so you can find some errors.
Also I really tried to fixed every problems but somethings I couldn't.
(Especially Multiplayer).
Most of them were fixed, but still remains. (I feel sorry about this, seriously)
Also sorry for late release. I know someones waited my Mod.
And I was promised but I didn't.
Don't be angry, I want to release but as I said earlier, I found lots of errors.
But I'm really sorry about that.

(Ironically enough, I also made a wad named "Modern Combat" for Skulltag. 6 years ago. :P)

Was this going to have vehicles? I thought I remember seeing a helicopter or something back on the Skulltag forums, but that might've been another mod.

There's a video of a helicopter on his youtube for this mod. It looks very impressive.

Hey, I remember this wad from way back :D I think I was the one who requested the Steyr Aug back on skulltag. Im glad to see your still working on it, however, I have a few suggestions that would really improve this wad.

Alright, the first thing I want to begin with is the ridiculous tall player sprites. I know your wad is supposted to play with the maps that were in the zip file, but if you resize the player sprites and the enemy sprites to a normal doomguy height, this wad will have more versatility with other wads. When I take your main wad file and try to play my favorite maps for other wads, the player is over sized and cant even fit through doorways. What I suggest doing here to make everone happy, is to make a seperate wad with ONLY your weapons and perks(take for example the RGA2 wad). That way servers can host your wad file with normal player sprites with their favorite maps. That will increase the play value of your wad, so that people are not limited to the map files specific for this wad.

Also another I would like to point out, is the rediculous recoil system for some of your guns. Firearms in your wad like the Steyr Aug, Scar-L, Famas, Mp5, and Ak47 do not have that much of a hard recoiling system IRL. Your other weapons in the wad are fine when it comes to recoil however. I would suggest adding a key in the player options menu for a semi automatic mode for your assault rifles. That will give players the oppertunity to lay down accurate fire at a long distance without having to deal with the recoil. OR, tone down the recoil on the weapons I have listed above. The Steyr Aug, Scar-L, and MP5 all have light recoil, and the recoiling in your wad will piss off alot of people trying to play which will ultimately steer them off from your wad.

Lastly, Your voice over radio system for your main player will irritate alot of people in the long run. It gets really annoying as your main character shouts "ENEMY NEUTRALIZED" after each kill. I understand that your trying to make a tactical wad, but make it a option to turn off the radio system. One of the main things I've hated about RGA2 in the beginning was your main character shouting"TARGET DOWN! COVER ME IM RELOADING!" everytime you've performed an action. There is an option in the latest version of RGA2 to make your character mute. That option saved alot of headaches for people using RGA2 in single player and in other wads where silence is a part of the atmosphere.

If you take my suggestions into consideration, this wad will be sucessful. Its a great alternative to the RGA series, and will probably be hosted on a ton of servers like when RGA2 was at its peak. It would be a ton of fun on horror wad servers, survival maps, and maybe invasion style gameplay. Overall this wad looks very promising so far.

I remember who you are when saw the first sentence, especially Steyr-AUG hehe..

I read your opinions very seriously and try consideration.
Also I didn' know actual playing gamers opinion so your post shows which way should I go.
I will keep listening what other people thought and try to make it better.

P.S. Hard recoil in AK47 and SCAR-L was for some quantity of realism but I know it is too hard to shot targets so I reduced it for a long times ago..
Still those weapons have huge recoil, but latest version of MCLS has variety of way to reduce recoil.
Like crouching shot(reduce recoil 20%), weapon specialization(using guns make them control easier), new Perks(reducing recoil, increase accuracy), special weapon kit(M32 Rapid Fire Module, M79 Explosion MK.II, Slug Ammunition, PG7VR Tandem warhead and so on) etc..

So that will be solve. :biggrin:

This looks promising, I was always a fan of RGA and RGA2/RGH, and this looks like it could be very similar if it was a separate weapon mod, I'd definitely use it to mix it up up while playing Doom, instead of playing Brutal Doom and AEoD almost all the time.

- Head Shot added : All of guns have headshots.
- Sniper Rifles are not anymore strong. Only headshots get them down at once.
- Explosive Weapons has more damages, radius range.
- Mutator System Added : Realistic Hardcore
- Every bullets have Speed, Gravity and Damage will be change continuosly via distances.
