Zdoomwars offline issue

How does one play Zdoomwars offline with the dukenukem patch? or other patches for it? it always gives me an error about decorate. or sbarinfo, and would love to play for instance AV with this mod.

I don't think it's even possible to play zdwars alone, unless you want to play with A.I. minus the "I". Or are you asking about playing on a lan? in which case you need to host all the wads in a correct order, look at the server Thetis hosted on Best-ever and try hosting them in that order.

I thought it was playable offline? If not...this explains so much! and I did Sort of if I go to the server first then hit new game. It works then, but sadly that's the only way I can get it to work.

It is playable offline. But the problem is that a lot of the custom factions rely on each other for extra stuff, so excluding one means it gets borked.

If you want to play offline, simply host:
zdoomwarsiv2.5v2.pk3
ZDoomWarsIMapsv1.1b.pk3
ZDoomWarsIMusicPackv2.pk3

And viola.
Anything extra you see on servers is not a needed file.

No, but the main stuff like zdwars302_2 as an example is required, the map pack; Patches too. You can host without the music but you might get an error in the console saying "(Songname) not found".

By the looks of it, you run an old version. Check with the version that is used on Grandvoid and play with that version. It might also be caused by a custom faction that's not compatible with the newest version of Zdoomwars.

I'd say look at the wad order on common servers and do

AV.wad ... [zdw wads here in order], then deal with DMFlags or w/e in game and hope it doesn't crash.
