IFL Autumn 2014

IFL - Invitational Flag League

The IFL is an invite only league for mainly European players where reliable captains have been chosen to play with generally newer players who aren't picked in CTF leagues, but are known to be reliable and want to better themselves. Designed after common CTF leagues, the gameplay is similar to league format: 10 minutes, 5 captures, 3 member teams...etc. Right now, the IDL map pack will be used to play the maps on. At playoff times, the teams will pick their homefield from any map that is not the final week map nor any of the maps that were played in the regular season.

The league itself is already underway, this thread will be the collection place of information, demos, and anything else that comes up.

The first week will start on October 20th 2014.

Rules are very similiar to your regular private CTF with the exception of demoing being a necessitiy from at least one player in the two teams facing each other.

I'm pretty excited with the team I have. Going to be glad to get some of them some solid CTF league experience.

I'm excited overall. I believe this league will turn out fine, and it will give some players as you said, solid experience.
Let's DO DIS!

What? How did Water and DS sneak their way in??

Some pretty interesting teams, I predict turskapants will win it.

I'm unfortunately not reliable, as I have told you on a server. If I could have done something about it I would, but for now I will be on the spectators seats rooting for your team Dragon, and may this tournament become a blast for all the contestants!
Spoiler: Modding Qualifications (Open)
ACS: If it's of ridiculous scope and of suicide-inducing complexity then it's the thing for me.
DECORATE: I can make more or less any godawful hack I need. Doesn't mean it works, though.
Maps: I only map for testing ACS.
GFX: Not enough time or experience.

If you need help, advice or similar, feel free to send me a PM. ;)

Would you even be willing to play at our times? When you're even hard enough to play in your own times? Haha.

ITT: people being salty about not being invited.

CW and TPS seem to be the evident top contenders in this tourney, maybe Wumbo also. But I hope FR does good as well!

That was the avails I was given from Water. It's your team's loss if you don't show.

EDIT: We manage to solve the situtation.

I may be a bit late here but I'm kind of sure that Water and Demonsphere are not europeans. This seems to be a case of contextual mishap.
