Final week of the regular season, I'll make some predictions.
OW vs LSD
Should be a hard-fought battle, as these two teams are directly competing for 1st seed in their division and subsequently, homefield advantage in the first playoff round. OW only needs to win or tie a single round in order to secure 1st seed, whereas LSD needs to 2-0 OW in order to earn 1st seed. Ironically enough on the other end, LSD also faces potential elimination as well: if they lose to OW and STB 2-0's TVR, LSD will be out. The biggest factor in determining this game - KillStrike. When he wants to be, he can be an amazing defender with some incredible aim. However, getting him to not throw is often an issue, exasperated by the fact that he claims to have quit Doom a few days ago (yawn). If Cab can manage to get KS available and in tryhard mode, LSD could very well win this. If KS doesn't show/throws, gg wp. In the end, I think OW's insane fragpower is going to give them the tipper on this map in any scenario. I think LSD will get a round win in, but won't be able to hold the whole match.
2-1 OW
E4 vs NGS
The defending WDL champ duo has had a very rocky start to their season here on Zandro, being dealt hard back-to-back blowouts so far. E4 decided to drop the spotty Dastan for a more active and reliable mid in Halloween, but the effort was made too late. E4 has already been mathematically eliminated from playoffs, as even if they 2-0 NGS and STB 2-0's TVR, E4 will lose the tiebreaker thanks to TVR beating them last week. There's not much to say here, NGS has been on fire this season, and they will most likely tear through E4, sending them home with an 0-6 round record while NGS heads into playoffs at 1st seed in the division.
NGS 2-0
STB vs TVR
This week's inter-division battle also has massive playoff implications. For starters, STB is on very thin ice, if they lose this week - they're out. The OW/LSD game also directly affects STB's standings, as if LSD defeats OW - STB is out regardless of this game. TVR on the other hand, has already clinched playoffs thanks to their win against E4 last week. This should be a really solid game, both teams seem to have their defensive ends covered which will put all the pressure on the runners. Surprisingly, STB has yet to play their main runner which is probably a reason why they're in such a tight spot in the standings. If Razor finally gets to play this week, STB's odds will skyrocket. I have no idea how Dragon is going to setup his team lineup, but I am going to base my prediction on STB having their full-force roster, and if that's the case I think Razor+OJ's hunger for playoffs will push them to their first win of the season (and possibly a ticket to playoffs if LSD happens to lose to OW).
STB 2-0-1
