Welcome to irc.zandronum.com in [location here]. Your use of these
services is bound by certain applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
____________________________________________________________________
|
| DISCLAIMER:
| By connecting to Zandronum, you aknowledge that you are connecting
| to a privately owned network, whose owners and operators have the
| rights to deny access or monitor connections at any time, for any
| reason. If you are found to be in violation of certain laws, full
| compliance will be offered to investigative authorities.
|____________________________________________________________________

=============================================================================
GENERAL COMMON SENSE
=============================================================================
: Our users are expected to use common sense when using this network. We
have all seen the "script kiddie" that likes to flood channels, flame
others, and tries to make himself look cool. Well, that behavior won't
get you far here, and eventually it will get you removed, so don't do
it.
: Be respectful of those around you. Abuse is not tolerated, and is dealt
with sternly.
: All content presented on this network is the responsibility of the user
from which the content is sourced. Zandronum takes no responsibility for
anything you might see on this network, and in connecting to it, as you
would any other network service, the network owners and operators shall
hold no liability for the actions of our other users. Connect at your
own risk!

=============================================================================
NON-HUMAN/PROXY CLIENTS
=============================================================================
: Bots are allowed on Zandronum, so long as they are not abusive and do not
violate any rules. Eggdrop bots really are not necessary due to the
advent of channel services, and as such are discouraged, but are still
allowed.
: Privately owned, secured proxies (such as BNC's) are allowed, as long as
they are not used to evade channel or network bans. Evading channel
bans, whether network owned or private, is a network-bannable offense.
: ANY AND ALL USE OF UNSECURED PROXIES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED, AND WILL BE
ENFORCED WITH THE USE OF A PROXY MONITOR SERVICE. If you are running an
insecure proxy on your local machine, your access to this network will
be removed without warning.

Extra Services:

MemoServ: Allows sending memos to offline users

BotServ: Custom channel bots as replacement to ChanServ

HostServ: A Service designed to give you a cool host name!
To get started please use the following command:

/msg HostServ Help Request

Some rules:

1) Your desired host name must not resemble
an IP address.
2) If you use a domain name, you must provide proof that
you own that domain. This is to prevent impersonation.
3) You may not use "R-Rated" or anything higher in your
hostname. Keep it clean!
