The leader's main duty is to decide what to host for SunS events, and may assist or lead in the other tasks such as testing, making compatibility patches, making threads and promoting the event

With some influence on the event, they contribute ideas and help decide what wads end up being played.
The leader can override their judgement, but that doesn't happen often.
