RE: What does your user name mean?
When I first came to Skulltag many years ago, STO asked for an account name, and for whatever reason I remembered that me and my friend were currently playing a game called Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven for the PS2, and so I chose that as my name and stuck with it over the years. I kind of regret not changing it a few years ago back when a permanent name change was still possible, but oh well.

My name comes from a word from my polish language (I'm from Poland), "zupa" which means "soup".
So Zupoman is like, for example, Iceman, or Fireman, or Waterman.
I really like soups, so this is why I choosed my nick to be Zupoman.

RE: What does your user name mean?
A long time ago, before some of you were born, I had a friend who drew comic books as a hobby, and he had characters based on his friends and family. He added a character based on me, and named him Empyre. I like the name, so I have used it ever since. I do not know how he came up with the name. I have since heard that there is a book that has an evil corporation named Empyre, and I am not named after that. There are a few others who use the name Empyre, but it is the only name I ever use, or a variation like Empyre65 or therealEmpyre if the name Empyre is already taken. If you see an Empyre somewhere else in the Internet, there is a good chance it is me, but there is also a possibility it is not.

RE: What does your user name mean?
I was looking for something Id/Apogee related but irrelevant to DooM. Inspiration!
Note however that my username should never include a space. This is an important distinction.
If that confuses you, congratulations! You've discovered the second meaning of the nick. ;)

This obscure band from the 80's
I run that page and the facebook page, its a cool name, it means "moral excellence; goodness; righteousness." I adopted it as my handle. I used to go by the name of Ben2k9.

Hammerfest is also GDI's (Command and Conquer reference) most secure location and base in Europe during the Tiberian Sun era. It's also the home of the Firestorm Generator defensive line.
My actual name, Goliath, came from the Terran Goliath in the Starcraft games.

RE: What does your user name mean?
In my country, if more guys have the same name, or if that's not the case, but one guy's name is long. We give him a nickname. If his last name is short enough, we just modify it and use it as a nick name. Or we just call him by his last name without modifications If the last name is long too, then we give him a short nick based on his (in)abilities or behavior.
In my case, my first name is long and a pain in the ass to pronounce multiple times in a conversation, but since my last name is short and easy to pronounce, they either call me by my last name or modify my last name and call me by that. The modified form of my last name is Konda and that's how my close friends call me. I also find it easier to use than my long-ass first name so I use it on internet.

My nickname is Teej. It's my first 2 initials (T and J) merged together. There's been a ton of variations over the years (T.J., Teejee and Tai just to name a few) but Teej just kinda stuck.
To create a more memorable online identity (and because Teej ALWAYS appears to be taken), I added the phrase "T for..." in front of Teej, inspired by those cheesy game shows of old where contestants have to figure out phrases by guessing which letters make up that particular phrase (A for Apple, B for Bus, C for Cat, etc.) kinda like Hangman.
Also, apparently I'm a festival for Hindu women. No joke.

Sounds like a potential sequel to TNT.DevilutioN wrote: Got it from TNT: Evilution. Just added a D to the start to make it Devil instead of evil haha
Also my name is just my old net name Aqua with Kitty grafted on the end.
Back on Skulltag I was Schezo Wegey, the dark wizard from the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo games, known for wielding a sword, stealing people's powers, and saying I WANT YOU!!!
