I do. Servers aren't up yet though.

It's just bad this new 60fps era are making 30fps feels like 24fps :(.
But at least, my 2012 notebook gpu still can handle Doom 4 \o/

EDIT: At least, with that I can guess a minimun sys req for Doom4.
8GB of ram (It can run at 6GB, but there's going to have too low free memory, so, better stay at 8)
Core I7 3635QM or better (You can compare your processor here, but, I would say a first generation core I7 is going to have a near performance than this one)
2GB of Video RAM, and something Equals or better than an AMD 8870m.

Or, if you can play the New batman game and fallout 4, you'll be able to run Doom 4

I ended up getting at last minute, Disguise told me bout it..because I completely forgot. Had it within bout hour luckily. He was not as fortunate :(

30fps is terrible, even capped Doom gives 35.

Played a bit last night. It honestly didn't leave that big of an impression on me. The matches were fast (faster than most modern fps games I suppose) and chaotic, but at the end of the session I wasn't really blown away.

It didn't blow me away either but i did still have a lot of fun with it.

Oh absolutely. I had fun with it, but didn't really feel like it brought something new or revolutionary with it.

I had the beta when I got invited... However, I never got to play a game. It would connect to a few lobby's but just as I was about to hit Ready, I would get booted out and back in the "Looking/Connecting to Servers" loop.

Then the "free" weekend ended. This was on PS4 btw, kinda pissed to see others able to play with no issues. Feel a bit cheated too as they just let me in but then, don't even let me play the game.

Was it only deathmatch for that weekend? and for that matter, is the beta still being played?

It's an alpha.
A lot of people had problems getting on with the PS4 so you aren't alone. Bethesda/ID Software said they were looking into it at the time. Don't actually know if they got it fixed that weekend.
It was TDM only.
Alpha cannot be played at the moment as there are no servers. There will be another alpha testing soon though. No specific date has been given.

the alpha was DM only, nothing more and nothing less, neither has game settings on pc (just like the good and old Doom 1)
