It's spelling pronounciation, it's natural for people to assume it without knowing where the name came from. Kinda like how everyone just started saying "k'-thoo-loo" once Call of Cthulu did.

Plus people who get easily offended by words that's not even related to him, and then you got a fanhater for some idiot reason.

I'm back from a hiatus from Zandronum (not sure why I took one...) with more face palm.

People trying to defend the confederate flag.

The Metriod: Federation Force cancellation petition.

People recoloring the DOOM trailer.

Hearing Obama using the N-word on a podcast not directed to anyone and people getting their nickers in a twist.

Also, people comparing the way the Charleston shooter was escorted VS the pool party arrest video and people pulling the race card. (people tend to forget the DC Sniper....)

In other words recent current events making me want to punch holes in my wall with my face.

People that assume that having a high ping is the only possible cause of lag

As a note, Zandronum does not reflect ping fluctuation well, so some of those people may be actually having lag spikes but the ping won't reflect it.

IMO if it was coded like:

ping avg = (ping avg + max ping) / 2

That'd probably show those nasty lag spikes.

Let's go down the lists:

THINGS THAT MAKE ME LEGIT MAD:
-Hypocrites. I don't tolerate hypocrisy pretty much at all, unless you can damn well defend it. Which, I'll add, most people can't.
-People who claim "I can't mod so do this for me". There's this process called learning.
-People who are being just a total idiot in ways that stop being funny.
-People who don't acknowledge someone's argument as a whole, instead opting to only single out individual points to fight out.
-People who "Move Goalposts" in arguments, so to speak.
-Designers (both game designers, modders, and mappers) that clearly tried to do something beyond their level; then don't actually put the effort in to actually make it work properly.
-Designers who fail to care about balance.
-Designers who prioritize the graphics over the ability to actually see.

THINGS THAT MAKE ME CRINGE:
-Designers who "waste" things - seriously, seeing potential of "What could've been" makes me cringe so hard it's painful.
-People who are being just a total idiot. Even if it is funny, it can be cringe-funny.
-Designers (both game designers, modders, and mappers) that clearly tried to do something beyond their level; then don't actually put the effort in to actually make it work properly.

That guy was obviously just trying to start problems for the sake of getting great reactions (which he did). The purposely broken English was a dead giveaway. No one in their right mind would, out of all mods, want Dreadnought compatible with Brutal Doom. It's a bad combination.

Oh, that reminds me, I forgot, on both "Cringe" AND "Facepalm" lists:
-Designers who say "We are going to [completely change/revolutionize/change the face of/save/insert revolutionary phrase here] the (insert thing they claim to be revolutionizing)".

You don't become great by thinking "I'm going to be great". You become great by by wanting to do something, and then working at it until you become great in the process.

At least, for most people, that's how it works.
