Oh jeez...Probably the days when IDL was on ZDaemon, Jkist3 still played duels on ZD and Skulltag was just getting it's foot in the door. Both ports were always busy. Always something to play.Best era of doom?
Yes and no. Yes because I'm a better leader than a follower and it's pretty easy for me to deal with situations head on (Cheaters, ban evaders, people who are here to ruin it for others). No because the more time consuming it becomes, the worse I feel about it overall and the worse I perform as someone who should be setting an example.Do you see yourself as a good admin?
I don't know if you mean in terms of doom or real life. So I'll answer both.Is there anything that you ever regret doing and/or not ever doing?
Doom: I regret the name "Metalhead"...I honestly really prefer "Metal" now and I hate that I ever used the former.
Real life: I regret my last car. Pontiac pursuit. Poured tons and tons of money in it to get it fixed only to have it die. Hated that thing.
Dammit, you like ONE Miley Cryus song and you're pegged as #1 fan. So maybe.are the contents of the spoiler in my siggy true
Mmmmmmmno. Yes. Maybe. (I'm still a mod on grandvoid and an admin on bestever, so probably but not very often)Will you ever ban someone again? *sniff* D;

Orginally was "Metalhead" named after the neutral character from the 80's/90's version of TMNT. Then I just shortened it to Metal.

oblivionro sign up today!on a scale of 1 to 10, how best is best-ever
I was with a friend on our way in town. She's your typical 'blonde' and acts the part very well. Her car wasn't the greatest (I think it was a Kia) and always had something broken on it. It began raining on our way in and she had mentioned very subtly that her windshield wipers did not work. So as it started pouring harder, she pulled over into a side street so we could figure something out. "I've gots an idea!" And from underneath her seat, she pulls out two long neck-key-chains, these things here [spoiler][/spoiler]She got out of the car and hooked one on each wiper blade and got back in the car. "You thinking what I'm thinking now?" I rolled down the window and grabbed the key chain, she grabbed hers on her side, and as we drove, we both went pulled the wipers back and forth simultaneously. Eventually it became too much and we had to pull over from laughing too hard.W1D3A55 wrote: What's the most hilarious moment you've had IRL?
The idea of it was hilarious. The fact that the windows had to be wide open for this concept to work and we were getting soaked just trying it was hilarious. Or maybe it was even the fact that people were honking at us at stop lights and possibly thought we were retarded was what made it funny.
Edit: Would also like to state that this same friend went to a music concert with me. Same thing. Wipers didn't work, rain was pouring so she just stated that it wasn't worth the trouble and labeled it as a sport. "Mosaic driving"

Some historical questions:
When did you join the doom community, and when did you join skulltag?
How did you become admin of skulltag originally?
Who were some major players or community members when you were new to skulltag/doom?

I joined Doom Connector in 2004, which hosted Skulltag as well, so I was already a part of that community.Hypnotoad wrote: Some historical questions:

At first, I was FNF admin...Then Carnevil made me a moderator for tourneys/matches. Then he wanted to take a good long break and put me as admin.
When I was new, I can hardly remember who was in at the time. I'll just remember some names off the top of my head. Deebo, Zorcher, [OFoD]Dudley, Th0r, Rottking, Ralphis, Humanbones, Megatrickster, Grimdoomer666 (AKA Midian), Lizardcommando, [IDP]Proximity, [IDP]Adamizer, Winstonsmith6079, Mr.Goth, Topchris, Madcat Mayhem, Ambient, Zero, Karonath, Tango, DMBoricua, Jordo Badfingers, Doomkid, Radnsmash, Aabra.
I'm probably missing a few.

What is your favorite game mode (other than CTF!) and what do you wish was played more often?

My favorite game mode, other than CTF, is probably either survival or teamdm. I do wish Teamdm was played more often, it was huge back in early ST days.

RE: legions boring. ama
I has a few questions :D
What was you're least favorite gamemode back in the ST era?
What was the biggest conflict (or if you want... drama) that has happened so far (in your own opinion, can be in forums, ingame, back on ST etc)
And last but not least...
Do you fear the Sentinel?

Least favorite was probably Possession/team possession. Never found it that fun.mifu wrote: I has a few questions :D

Biggest conflict? When a group of people (I won't give names), obtained my full name, address, phone number, many passwords to various sites, a youtube video of me, relatives and friends names, high school friends, impersonated me online and IRL (Used my name online to obtain information from people I know IRL), ddosed me, made a website/forum dedicated to me, made multiple death threats and threatened to give away my personal information to other people, photoshopping many pictures of me, creating and spreading fake logs of me, used such logs to try and ruin my real life. "Step down or we will ******" "I hope you choke and die" "I hope you fucking die". Still have the logs.
I do not fear the Sentinel, because maybe...I am the sentinel.

Mr Goth has played sometime in the last year(or maybe a little more) under a different name. Seems like he just pops in for a round then takes off for months at a time though.

Nah, not Mobius. Gonna guess Simk or, less likely, Mr. Cheater.
On-topic, if you could choose to go back in time to a certain year, which year would that be? In real life terms.
